It’s important to remember some rules of dog etiquette before you get started with the real estate process, and to get your dog acquainted with them as well. Think about how to keep your current home clean for potential buyers and how to make sure your dog minds his manners when new people come around.
In fact, it’s usually a good idea to keep your dog separated from the real estate process altogether if possible. Let him stay with a friend or keep him safe in a crate or kennel during homebuyer visits, just to make sure there are no issues.
